Touch up Catalano Grey Paint code
I tried these 2 paint codes using an ebay supplier

M4G
first sample was too dark and metallic
second sample was too light.
In the end I gave up got a refund.
As it turns out I scratched my tank with button on my jacket after PPF applied, so I had to resolve getting a proper colour match
paid more to go with Chipex , who got it right first time and its an exact match.
( note I didnt manage to sort this out before applying PPF, so have a very small light dot under the ppf now, should have just waited )

start with the middle piece, but its by far the hardest to fit.
Soften with the warmth of your palm (or careful hot water/heat) , be patient and it does eventually mould to the complex curves of the tank
side pieces are super simple with minimal curves
The film is virtually invisible.
I created this post initially in Sept 2023 (!) but never published , now Aug 2026 the film is still providing protection, hasnt yellowed and is providing protection across 15k miles riding
