android send contact details to others

I was shocked to discover that this ubiquitous function isnt in Android in any flavour! WTF !

option 1 : get a pad and some paper...
option 2 : create a QR code from your contact to display on phone 1, and using the second phone scan it in!
find out how here...

option 3 : find an app
Of which there dont seem to be many. surprising really. but the best I could find is below, Seems to work well, but still doesnt sent it as a full business card boo.

Feynman diagrams for fun blog post

check out this cool blog post :-)

There are few things more iconic of particle physics than Feynman diagrams. These little figures of squiggly show up prominently on particle physicists’ chalkboards alongside scribbled equations. Here’s a ‘typical’ example from a previous post.

34th Richard Dimbleby Lecture : Shaking Hands with Death

I dont wish to presume to know your biases or opinions but I watched this the other night and was transfixed both by the words (Terry Pratchet) and delivery (Tony Robinson). Its been a long time since i was last captivated in such a way.

the words , the feeling , the sheer passion and story telling delivered a very strong but eloquant message.

Tony speaks at around 8 minutes

"One of the world's most popular authors gives the 34th Richard Dimbleby Lecture from the Royal College of Physicians in London.

Sir Terry Pratchett announced in 2007 that he had been diagnosed with a rare form of early-onset Alzheimer's disease. In his keynote lecture, Shaking Hands with Death, he explores how modern society, confronted with an increasingly older population, many of whom will suffer from incurable illnesses, needs to redefine how it deals with death. Pace |Twin PVR lockup standby wont switch on : how to fix

heres some info (that I deleted from my comments by mistake by 'Trevor')

We have received reports over the last few days where some older Pace Twin boxes have ?stuck? in standby and simply display the clock.

If your box is stuck and is unresponsive to the remote control or front panel buttons, please try the following steps:

Unplug the mains and aerial cables from the Twin box.
Plug in the mains cable only. The box will go through the boot-up process and display 4 dashes (- - - -)
Switch the box out of standby by pressing the on/off key on the front panel. The 4 dashes should then change to a number.
Press the arrow down key until the number 1 is displayed on the front panel.
Plug in the aerial cable.
If the problem is recurring, we suggest ensuring the box is on the BBC1 channel before switching to standby or removing the power from the box.

Please contact for further assistance if required.
